Understanding Standardisation

Reishi is often compared using beta-glucan or polysaccharide percentages alone. While these are important markers of extract quality, they represent only part of Reishi's natural compound profile.

Unlike some mushrooms, Reishi also contains alcohol-soluble compounds known as triterpenes, including ganoderic acids. These are not captured through water extraction alone.

For this reason, this extract is produced using dual extraction and selected for a balanced compound spectrum rather than a single headline percentage.

The 8:1 dual extraction method preserves both water-soluble and alcohol-soluble compounds naturally present within Reishi fruiting body material.
